Mike Lowell and the Red Sox Put on Dancing Shoes for Charity

Mike Lowell, Red Sox third baseman, hosted "Mike Lowell's Dancing With the All-Stars" on Saturday night to benefit his own foundation and their efforts to raise money to fight cancer in children.

Jonathan Papelbon led off the night in his black lace shirt but was quickly outdone when Dustin Pedoria decided it was a good move to rip his shirt off, which no doubt turned into a bad decision. I guess we can be thankful that Bartolo Colon didn't show up and rip his shirt off as well.
Red Sox manager Terry Francona attended the event, while teammates Jason Varitek, Tim Wakefield, Javier Lopez, Josh Beckett, and Jacoby Ellsbury all provided positive support at the event, which I'm sure will not be forgotten throughout the season.

This isn't really my cup of tea but I do like the fact that the some teammates showed up to support Lowell for this goofy charity event for children.

It's going to be interesting to see what the future holds for Papelbon and Pedoria as they are slowly becoming the face of the franchise. What other crazy antics will these two pull off down the road? We can only wait and see...
