Colts Accused of Creating Fake Noise Against Patriots

"The NFL is looking into allegations that the Indianapolis Colts piped in noise during the game Sunday between the Colts and the Patriots. The charge comes after Patriots President Jonathan Kraft became the latest NFL team executive to accuse the Colts of the distracting tactic that is against the rules.

"We're aware of it and we're looking into it," NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said Monday. "It may just be the TV feed from CBS, but we're checking it out."

Observers at the game said there seemed to be a "skip" in the sound during the game Sunday, which the Patriots won 24-20. That might confirm the long-held suspicion among many people in the NFL that the Colts play loud crowd noise to help distract opponents when the other team is on offense."

Woah, woah, woah! Could this be true? Did the heavenly angel Tony Dungy himself cheat during a football game? CBS says it was just feedback from an audio feed, but there are rumors that the noise that was made in the RCA Dome was not feedback but previously recorded fan noise being pumped back into the stadium to create confusion when Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and the Patriots were trying to communicate during the game.

For the Colt's sake I hope these accusations are false because I wouldn't want to see Tony Dungy get fined $500,000, like Bill Belichick did, and lose a first round pick. If this is true I wonder which coach cheated more. Is the camera worse than the fake noise?

Regardless, the Colts have enough to worry about after the refs handed them the game against New England and they just couldn't handle the pressure.

If the Colts make it to the AFC Championship game against the Patriots they're going to get rocked. Write that one down.
